Applicants must provide a certified translation for any documents not written in English.
Translations must:
* Not be made by an applicant's family member or a person with an interest in the outcome of the application; and
* Be certified as a correct translation made by a person familiar with both languages and competent in translation work; and
* Be prepared and certified by a recognised private or official translation service; and
* Be on the official letterhead of the translation service, and
* Bear the stamp or signature of the translator, and
* Be accompanied by the original documents or certified copies; and
* Be paid for by the applicant.
Translations may be prepared by:
* The Translation Service of the New Zealand Department of Internal Affairs, or
* Language departments of secondary schools or universities, or
* Reputable people within the community who are known to translate documents accurately, or
* Embassies (if the translation is endorsed with the appropriate embassy seal), or
* Any other recognised private or official translation service.

Я и говорю, что у всех по-разному. В последний раз, когда просил повысить лимит до 3000, сказали «получишь резидентство, тогда и проси», а коллеге при этом дали 5000 без вопросов.
По-разному бывает. Мне сначала дали на 1000, потом подняли до 2000, кому-то из коллег до сих пор не дают больше 500, а кому-то сразу при открытии дали 3000. Это какая-то лотерея, чёрт побери. Ничего вразумительного от ASB'шников я не услышал. Видимо, зависит от того, на чью смену в approval-centre попадёшь.
По приезду в НЗ мой коллега ходил в 5 разных отделений ASB, ему везде отказали. Потом он уже плюнул на это дело. А при очередном заходе в одно из отделений ASB для оформления страховки на вторую машину, они ему сами предложили кредитку открыть.
У меня было немного по-другому. Я открывал кредитку через 3 месяца пребывания в НЗ через ASB'шный сайт, на следующий день они мне позвонили и рассказали про те самые 5 тыщ NZD, на что я им ответил «не дам». Через пару дней по почте пришли кредитки.
В общем я так и не понял, какими критериями они руководствуются.

я на рабочию визу вообще все документы отправлял ксерокопией, ничего не спрашивали.
